Montirex, one of the UK’s fastest-growing sportswear brands, officially opened its first ever store in Liverpool ONE this weekend.

Founders Danny Yuen and Kieran Riddell-Austin were joined by brand ambassador, UFC Welterweight #1 Contender, Leon “Rocky” Edwards for the opening ceremony and gave away exclusive Montirex goody bags to the first 50 customers.

The opening was a successful celebration of the brand in its home city, creating an incredible queue of over 700 committed fans, with some even having camped out to be one of the first though the doors. The store showcases exclusive product lines including the Liverpool MTX Run City Collection- expertly designed for running enthusiasts, the best-selling item over the weekend.

Co-founder, Danny Yuen commented: “Having a Montirex store is something we have  always dreamed of, so opening the doors this weekend was a real pinch me moment. It was amazing to see the team’s hard work come together in the city that we love.”

Kieran Riddell-Austin added: “We are so pleased with how the opening and first weekend has gone, exceeding expected sales figures and driving huge footfall over the opening weekend. We appreciate all our loyal customers showing up and loving the brand as much as we do.”

The store will be open for a few months stocking Montirex Men’s, Women’s, Junior, and Infant fits, with many of the lines exclusive to the store. Montirex will also be organising and hosting regular events and visits from its sponsored athletes, making the store a central hub for the Montirex Community in the heart of Liverpool. The first event will be taking place late October.

The new store is located on South John Street.
