When is the Liverpool ONE Dog Show?

The Dog Show is taking place on Sunday 10 September 2023 on Chavasse Park.

How do I enter my dog in the Dog Show?

You can pre-register your dog via our website by filling out a short registration form HERE.

What are the categories?

There are 7 categories to choose from: Cutest Puppy, Prettiest Pooch (female dog), Handsomest Boy (male dog), Best Tricks, Fancy Dress, Musical Statues Challenge and Rescue Dog.

How many categories can I enter?

You can enter your dog into a maximum of 2 categories

What is Musical Statues?

In this category, dogs and owners will take a space in the judging area. Music will be played and the presenter will announce a pose that the dog is to do when the music stops. This could be sit, roll over, lie down, stand up etc. The last dog that does the post correctly (or doesn’t) will unfortunately be out with a dog being eliminated in each round. The last dog standing will win the category.

What is the Rescue Dog category?

If you have a beloved rescue dog then this category is for you to tell us your story on how they became a member of your family. Did they have a bad start to life and have come on leaps and bounds in your care? We would love to hear your story.

Is my dog fully registered into the event once I have completed the registration form?

You have pre-registered your dog by completing the online registration form. Final registration will take place in the morning of event day on 10 September. Timings and further information will be provided via email two weeks prior to event. If you do not complete registration in the morning of the event and arrive when the category starts, you will not be entered. Categories may close early due to capacity.

I have registered my dog, when will I receive further information?

You will receive an email with full event information ahead of the Dog Show, no later than Friday 8 September. Please ensure you check your junk mail. If you haven’t received an email by 8 September, please email info@liverpool-one.com with name provided on the registration form.

My dog is not up to date with its vaccinations, can I still enter?

Yes you can still enter the dog show, but you must tick the relevant box on the registration form confirming that you bring your dog at your own risk.

Will there be dog bins provided?

There will be dedicated dog bins across Chavasse Park. Dog bags will also be provided on registration.

Do we have to stay all day, how do I know when to arrive for my category?

You will need to arrive the morning of the event to complete the registration process. A confirmed time will be announced two weeks prior to the event via email. On the day, you will complete registration and a time for each category will be announced on the day. You can go and return for your category or you can stay and enjoy the event.

What are the prizes?

Every dog that enters gets a Liverpool ONE Dog Show Rosette. Each winner of the category will receive a £50 Liverpool ONE Gift Card and special doggy treats and the runner up of each category will receive a £25 Liverpool ONE Gift Card.
